Here
is how the system works. First of all, have a look at the
photos of the animals,from which I worked, and the resulting
paintings. Decide if you like my style, which can be described
as realistically humorous. If you do, perhaps you would like
to send me some photos of your favorite animal. Only dogs
are shown here for the moment, but I love all furry animals.
When
I recieve your photos, I will write to say if I think I can
do something nice for you. I will give you an approximate
size and prices. If you decide to place
an order, I then ask you to send $25. I don't ask you to pay
the total price up front, because I do the painting I want
to do. You will have right of first refusal by photo/email
of the result. If you do not wish to purchase the painting,
that's your decision. Since I have done a painting I like,
if you decide not to purchase it, I can propose it for sale
on line or in my gallery.
The prices
of my paintings vary from $200 to over $1000. The average
price for a painting, or portrait of 24 x 30 inches, unframed,
would be about $300. Shipping is always and only
at actual cost. No "handling" charges, ever. Actual
price of shipping depends, obviously, on the size of the painting
and the destination. All work leaves from Belle Ile en Mer,
France.
