RUNNING DOG, A TOTALLY NEW CREATION
NOW TOTALLY SOLD!

This boy is a Funny Runner if ever there was one! Not only does he balance (ok, with a little bit of help, or adjustment from you, but he can do it!) on three feet, his head is fully jointed and his right leg as well, so that it can swing back and forth. What a runner! Of course every time you choose to reposition the leg or tilt the head, he may need a bit of help refinding his balance, but some of us know that feeling. His Schulte mohair is really exceptional. Once purely white it was hand-dyed letting beautiful "accidents" happen with a secret permanent dye. The colors were permanently fixed onto the piece of fabric through a process which took the artist thirty five years to develop. Then the dog was cut, sewn and stuffed. Needless to say this is a completely new and original pattern. Funny Runner was then airbrushed with another sort of permanent dye to create his subtle blush and shadowing. He may be realitively small at 8 inches tall, but he measures a full 16 inches from nose to the end of his extended leg. Although small in stature this boy is far from a lightweight. The key to his balancing act is in steel weights placed in certain of his feet. Be the first collector to welcome this new design and expression of Tantlinger (craziness) and total originality into your home. This dog is so rare that he was born on the endangered species list. Adopting him is an ecological event.

MURPHY ACCIDENTO,
SON OF THE ORIGINAL RUNNING DOG SOLD

Click to see me put my Paw Down Click to see my Spotted Paw Pads

MURPHY ACCIDENTO is a true son of the Original Running Dog, above. His unique Schulte Mohair, which started out white, was subjected to an original process to dye it with amazing and totally permanent spots. This Unique, truly One of a Kind puppy was cut and sewn from that resulting mohair. Even his German wool felt paw pads were dyed at the same time. What preparation! As he is a relative of the Running Dog, there is a family resemblence, however, as you can see his nose is shorter. Of course the colors are totally different, but then we don't know who the father is do we? Please don't hold that against this sweet loving puppy who longs to trot his way into your heart. Like his mother, Murphy has a fully jointed head, one jointed right leg and is heavily weighted. With your help to find his balance he can stand independently in an infinate variety of positions. Murphy is 14.5 inches long from the tip of his chubby blushing nose to the end of his outstretched spotted back paw, and stands 8 inches tall or 9 to the tip of his wired ear. His adorable ears are lined in the same custom-dyed felt as used for the paw pads. There will never be another dog like this boy.
