Dominique is made of one of my favorite tipped Schulte mohairs. The under fur is golden brown and the tips a rich dark brown. As his muzzle is clipped the golden fur appears. Then some of the bear; his ears, face and wool paw pads were airbrushed with permanent dye of a dark brown. So he actually has four colors. He is very richly colored soft and sweet boy. The photo makes his head look a bit larger than it is in reality. Be assured this is no indication of unusually high intelligence. Sitting 8.5 inches high, all Dominique asks is a happy home and lots of hugs and snuggles against his exceptionally soft fur. $195 plus $25 Airmail to US.

Trevor is a truly international bear. Made of Schulte mohair, with paw pads of wool also from Germany, to top it off he wears a hand-knit wool stocking cap made by a German colleague. I wish I could remember her name and buy some more of these adorable hats, complete with spaces for bear ears! Trevor sat 8.5" tall until he added his hat and now he is a very proud and unique bear. SYLVAIN, Un Ours Bien Original

This sweet little bear is made of German wool and felt from Schulte. He is hand-painted with permanent dye which I apply with an airbrush. In the photo are visible both his name tag, signed and his authenticity tag. Every one of my animals comes with these and the larger tag is hand-written with a specific description of the animal in question in my signature sepia ink, and signed. Sylvain sits a proud 8.5 inches tall and is fully articulated. His face is quite expressive, if asymmetrical as are we all. This adds to his charming character. $165 plus $25 Airmail to the US. SOLD

DETBLANE, Un Ours à Maman

Detblane is made of soft, curly Schulte mohair. His paws and feet pads are of German wool and his Austrian glass eyes are of a deep amber color. He is so proud of his wide hand-knit tweedy wool scarf, hand-knit by the artist. He sits a full 12 inches tall, is a big consequent bear who longs to fill your lap and stretch out his arms for a big hug. Fully articulated his head bobs agreeably. He only says, "Yes." What a pleasant companion he would be! He growls as well, but only in the affirmative. Detblane is a real Mama's boy, as indicated by his description in French. $205 plus $30 Airmail to the USA.
